Partners Mentoring of Delta, Montrose and Ouray is looking for an administrative assistant to join our team. Partners is a long-standing nonprofit that provides community-based mentoring and other programming to area youth. This position will hopefully wear a few hats for the nonprofit, but we are looking for someone with experience in bookkeeping and administering payroll. Other duties may include billing grantors, assisting with budgeting, preparation for annual audit, and assisting the staff with administrative tasks. This portion of the position requires about 10 – 20 hours per week, with plenty of flexibility.
For the candidate wishing for more hours, we would welcome a bookkeeper interested in assisting with youth programing, volunteer recruitment, fundraising events and grant management. Skills for this portion of the job require creativity, energy and a desire to make in impact in the lives of local youth. For someone ready to work beyond the bookkeeping this position would require 30 – 40 hours per week and would be eligible for some great benefits: monthly business stipend ($300 - $400/month), matching retirement, paid time off and mental health days.
